This weeks discovery is definitely a hidden gem. Toast Food Co. is situated in the the corner of Jan Shoba and Lynwood in beautiful Pretoria. It has so much charm, with a slightly rustic yet minimal interior and a very cosy ambience.
I tried their tall cappuccino and it was delicious. I really liked the blend and it was expertly made. They offer all the coffee types as well as some interesting flavoured drinks such as their Melktert Latte. I tried their chocolate croissant (because let’s be real, who can really resist a chocolate croissant?) and it was defiantly in my top five best croissants I’ve ever had. Toast also has a really varied menu of all sorts of tasty foods as well as freshly baked cakes, muffins etc.
In conclusion, Toast is truly a hidden gem. The great coffee, delicious food and cosy ambience eared them a eight bean rating. It’s the perfect place for studying, as they offer charging points for laptops and free WiFi. They also have a really cool loyalty program, which offers 5% back in points on all spend!
