Lucky Bread Company is an absolute treat. They’re situated in the middle of Brooklyn mall and the smell of coffee while shopping is hard to miss. Normally I’m someone who enjoys going to coffee shops located in cute areas far away from the chaos of a mall. However, I think Lucky Bread is the exception. Their location makes it the ideal place to get amazing coffee and food in-between shops or on your way out.

Due to the location of Lucky Bread, it has an unmistakably energetic ambience, plus its also a great spot to do some people watching. Lucky Bread has a wide range of coffees to choose from, ranging from speciality pour-over blends, an espresso macchiato, espresso Panna, cortado, flat white and many more. Being super curious about speciality coffees I tried their single-origin pour-over called Tanzania Kilimanjaro, which is described on their menu to have notes of chocolate, berry, and spices. The presentation of the coffee was good, the cup was a perfect size, and it was the perfect temperature. The coffee had honestly been brewed perfectly and the taste was great.

I had a fellow coffee lover with me who ordered the cappuccino, and it was also everything a decent cappuccino should be. They also offer almond and soymilk alternatives. Along with the good service, they also have a large and varied menu and a very tasty looking display of pastries and of course bread. For more information, you can check out their website https://www.luckybread.co.za/ or find them on social media.

Overall the great experience I always have at Lucky Bread earned them an eight and a half bean rating. If you’re looking to grab some delicious coffee or a bite to eat after running some errands the Lucky Bread company is place for you!
