Hey guys! This week’s review is on one of my all-time favourite coffee spots in Pretoria. Spout is situated in the Village in Hazelwood and it’s constructed out of a double story container that easily satisfies all one’s atheistic needs.

For me, one of the coolest things about Spout is the atmosphere. You have the option to sit at the little tables nestled under trees or enjoy the beautiful rooftop view. They also have a super cosy nook where you can sit and sip on some delicious coffee and a pastry (it’s also very instagramable). The ambience is beyond calming and inspiring, and it gives the kind of feeling where I feel compelled to sit hours catching up with a friend or simply relaxing and observing the bustle of the village.

I ordered a cappuccino, and it didn’t disappoint. The latte art was cute, and their minimalistic logo in the takeaway cup matches the décor perfectly. The taste of Spouts coffee is definitely one of the bests in Pretoria. Spout roasts their own blend which you can buy in-store and online at https://spoutcoffee.co.za/. Their signature blend is described as being floral yet bold and holding notes of cherry, orange, and a lingering note of vanilla. Yep, it’s just as delicious as that sounds. They also offer a variety of milk alternatives and pastries such as canelés and Pain au Chocolates.

Overall, the gorgeous ambience, amazing coffee and friendly service earned Spout a nine bean rating. Spout is also open early in the mornings, making it a regular hang out for runners, walkers, and cyclists. With a sunny weekend ahead, I strongly advise that you make a stop at Spout to experience it yourself!
