Industrial Coffee Works is nestled away in an office block Hendrik Verwoerd Drive in Centurion. The décor in every way lives up to its name, displaying an industrial, slightly steampunk and very unique look. Their floor space is large and the ambience is highly energetic.

I immediately liked that they give an option to choose one of their two blends, the ‘Family’ blend, and the ‘Outlaw’ blend. Their outlaw blend is from Uganda and is described on their menu to carry subtle dark chocolate and African acidity and fruitiness. The family blend is from Ethiopia and Rwanda and is described to have high acidity and subtle flavours of grapefruit, coconut, and cherry. Besides choosing your roast, you can also choose your size, coffee dosage, and type of coffee. I ordered their regular cappuccino with the family bend and I wasn’t disappointed. The blend was true to what it was described as and, the presentation was good, with appealing latte art. The preparation was also perfect, and the cups were of a good size. I had a taste of a fellow coffee lovers’ cappuccino with Outlaw blend and I must say if your life a stronger, darker roast coffee the outlaw blend would be a good choice.

Overall, the energetic ambience, good service and quality coffee earned Industrial Coffee Works a 7 bean rating! You can check out their website https://industrialcoffeeworks.com/ for more info. On their website, you’ll also find a shop where you can buy both the Outlaw and Family blend beans as well as pods so that you can make the same delicious coffee at home. They also have a wide menu of tasty foods, so if you’re looking for some good coffee a nice vibe and a meal then Industrial Coffee Works is definitely worth checking out.
